Fish the incredible Malleo River
SAN HUBERTO LODGE is a historic favorite in the area, and synonomous to high end when it comes to fishing lodges. From this lodge you can wade fish miles of the infamous Malleo River. The lodge has been managed by the Olsen family for more than 20 years, and their attention to detail and care for the land is apparent in every detail. This amazing lodge has room for up to sixteen guests and includes an in-house bar, hot tub, masseuse, and a ‘quincho’ for the classic Sunday ‘asado’. Guests have access to over 20 miles of the spectacular river, and private access to the Huaca Mamuil spring creek, famous for it’s dry fly fishing. The awe inspiring and iconic Lanín volcano will be your backdrop during your stay here, so be sure to bring your camera to take in the stunning views. San Huberto is located roughly 20 minutes from the quaint town of Junin de Los Andes, and 45 minutes from the Chapelco Airport.
Arroyo Verde

ARROYO VERDE LODGE is located in one of the most beautiful and magical valleys in all of northern Patagonia. The only way to fish the stunning, yet technical, Traful River is from this ranch. Days on the water here can be slow and challenging, but they also provide the opportunity to catch the fish of a lifetime! This is also one of the only places in northern Patagonia to target land-locked salmon. Arroyo Verde one of the fanciest and most elegant fishing lodges in the area. The main house has room for up to ten guests and the property also offers a separate cabin on the Traful Lake with a unique private experience for those who stay there. The service and meals are outstanding. For those who enjoy non-fishing activities such as horseback riding, hiking, or biking, this estancia is a good place to be.

The most spectacular scenery in northern Patagonia
ESTANCIA TRES LAGOS is located 45 minutes south of San Martín de Los Andes in the gorgeous Lanín National Park. The expansive estancia has been in the Fernandez Beschtedt family for generations and offers some of the most spectacular scenery in northern Patagonia. The quaint lodge is filled with history! You are sure to feel welcomed and cozy among the three cabins that overlook the Filo Hua Hum Lake. The Filo Hua Hum River flows from the Lago Nuevo to the Lago Filo Hua Hum for about 10 miles through the property and holds trophy brown trout. Staying at this lodge you are able to fish the river, the small spring creek flowing from the river, or either of the two scenic lakes at either end of the river. This is a place for expert wade fishermen who enjoy sight fishing.
Collon Cura
The best section of the lower Collon Cura River.
ESTANCIA COLLON CURA is located about an hour from the Chapelco Airport. This lodge offers private access to the best section of the lower Collón Curá River. It’s very functional and pleasant - simplicity makes it work perfectly. The lodge offers four comfortable double rooms that share a small living room, with a total capacity for eight guests. The service and meals are incredibly good!

Limay River Ranch is a newly built lodge on the banks of the iconic Limay River. Its close proximity to the water allows you to spend your time fishing, not driving. There are six tastefully designed, individual cabins that can host a total of 12 guests. In the main lodge, find a fully stocked bar, dining room with delicious meals, and living room with fast internet. The large Limay is primarily fished from the boat, where you will have the opportunity to go after the fish of your lifetime!

ESTANCIA PILO LIL is located on the west bank of the prolific Aluminé River, with over 10 miles of access to the very best and most secluded stretches. The estancia is 23,000 acres and offers the most attractive lodge in the Aluminé area. Pilo Lil is a sophisticated and classy lodge offering a total of six rooms and five private bathrooms. Horseback rides and treks, as well as sightseeing or even shopping tours can be arranged due to its proximity to Junín de Los Andes and San Martín de Los Andes. From the lodge, guests will have easy access to the countless available stretches on the Aluminé River, as well as the chance to experiencing diverse quality of fishing opportunities on the rivers, creeks, and lakes in the vicinity such as the lower Malleo, the Quillen, the Malalco, the Nahuel Mapi, and even others such as the Collon Cura and Chimehuin Rivers. Fishing can be by both floating and/or wading. The Aluminé River has some of the best inchworm hatches starting in December all through the end of January.
